Chapter Philanthropy and Service
The Kappa Theta Chapter of Zeta Tau Alpha is committed to supporting our national philanthropy, Breast Cancer Education, and Awareness, through various fundraisers, events, and socials throughout the school year. Our mission is to raise awareness, educate our community, and contribute to the fight against breast cancer.
We amplify our efforts during Breast Cancer Awareness Month each October by hosting "Think Pink Week." This special week is filled with impactful events designed to educate, fundraise, and bring our community together in support of breast cancer research and awareness. Through interactive activities and outreach initiatives, we strive to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those affected.
Zeta Tau Alpha proudly partners with several organizations dedicated to breast cancer awareness and education, including the NFL for its "Crucial Catch" campaign. Every year, our chapter teams up with the Los Angeles Chargers and Los Angeles Rams to promote early detection and cancer prevention. In addition to this partnership, we also work with Bright Pink—a national non-profit focused on empowering women to manage their breast and ovarian health through education and support. Together with these organizations, we raise awareness and help drive the movement toward a world without breast cancer.
Through these efforts, Kappa Theta continues to uphold Zeta Tau Alpha’s legacy of service, advocacy, and lasting impact in the fight against breast cancer.
Together, we Think Pink—until 1 in 8 becomes none in 8.
